Tucker Duke’s

This casual burger restaurant and bar promises delicious food and a relaxed atmosphere. The gigantic Tucker Duke Burger combines half a pound of Florida Seminole Pride beef, a tower of homemade onion rings, mixed greens with tomato, cheddar, and American cheeses, and special Louisiana remoulade Tucker sauce. It’s available for half price on the first Tuesday of every month.

With the Mondragon, you’ll get six slices of bacon, an egg, American and cheddar cheeses, Tucker sauce, tomato, and mixed greens. The Maui Burger is 8 ounces and features bacon, white American cheese, pineapple slices spiced with chili, red onions, and sweet Thai mayonnaise. The Gran Dada won the 2015 Boca Raton Burger Battle and has smoked gouda, chipotle mayonnaise, onions, maple bacon onion chutney, tomato, and mixed greens. Further, the Renegade includes two 6-ounce burger patties, bacon, cheddar cheese, barbecue sauce, onions, tomato, and mixed greens.

Tucker Duke’s lets diners add avocado to most burgers or substitute a turkey burger or a veggie burger. Even without substitutions, vegans will love the Toothless. It has a vegan burger, vegan mayonnaise, a gluten-free bun, vegan cheddar cheese, pickled vegetables, mixed greens, and tomato. The vegetarian Sami comes with a chickpea burger, whipped feta cheese, cilantro mayonnaise, pickled vegetables, tomato, and mixed greens. For dessert, try the homemade donuts with cinnamon and apple pie filling or the raspberry cheesecake chimichangas.

Cheffrey Eats (at Barrel of Monks)

Cheffrey Eats, located in the same building as the Barrel of Monks brewery, has lots of huge burgers. One of these sizable burgers is the My Boy Bleu, which won the 2019 Boca Burger Battle’s People’s Choice Award. It comes with a 7-ounce patty, a portobello mushroom, caramelized onions, and homemade bleu cheese. Select the Pigout for a 7-ounce Angus beef patty, shredded pork, cheddar cheese, candied bacon, and homemade barbecue sauce.

With the Burrata Burger, you will enjoy a 7-ounce patty, burrata cheese, cashew pesto sauce, spicy cherry peppers, and a balsamic vinegar drizzle on a toasted Kaiser bun. The My Big Fat Greek Burger is a combination of fig and olive tapenade, grilled red onions, feta tzatziki, roasted red peppers, and other ingredients.

At Cheffrey Eats, you can order a side of truffle fries with truffle oil, Parmesan cheese, sage, garlic, and sriracha or lime aioli sauce. Bacon-wrapped dates stuffed with goat cheese and Mongolian Brussels sprouts covered in homemade Mongolian glaze are available as well.

The restaurant opens Tuesday through Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m., Friday from 4 to 10 p.m., Saturday from noon to 10 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. There’s an outdoor patio, and the brewery has a bar and a tasting room.

Grease Burger Bar

This outfit is in West Palm Beach, about half an hour from Boca Raton. They serve 120 craft beers and have a working fireplace and a sports bar with 20 TVs. The burgers come with 10 ounces of beef, and you can upgrade to a 12-ounce patty. Choose the Brinkman for bacon, grilled onions, pepper jack cheese, jalapenos, and sriracha mayonnaise.

The Black and Blue adds a blackened patty, bleu cheese, and applewood bacon. And the Ron Burgundy features a mushroom burgundy reduction, green onions, Swiss cheese, and Boursin cheese. Kipper’s Housemade Veggie Burger includes black beans, sweet potato, green onions, and cilantro lime mayonnaise. If you’re really hungry, order the Grease Beast.
