JB’s on the Beach

Located just 6 miles southeast of Boca Raton in Deerfield Beach, JB’s on the Beach provides you with a stunning beach view with a nearby walkway leading you directly to the sand. The restaurant serves classic American cuisine with an abundance of fresh seafood dishes. Begin your meal with an order of oysters, and try the crab cake sandwich. The restaurant serves fresh coastal and farm-to-table cuisine. Check out the Chef’s Seafood Bar section, which features dishes such as crab Louis stuffed avocado and the grouper ceviche traditionale. You can also order straight from the menu, which includes Alaskan king crab, tuna poke, and grilled octopus. If you’re looking for food closer to land, try the Tanglewood all-natural chicken, pappardelle Bolognese with short rib, or beef tenderloin.

Oceans 234

234 N. Ocean Drive, Deerfield Beach

The Pallaria family purchased the Ranch House restaurant in 2002 and demolished the former eatery, replacing it with this stunning establishment in Deerfield Beach. Present-day owner Danielle Rosse purchased Oceans 234 in 2021 and continued the property’s evolution by performing a $1.8 million renovation. Its floor plan and expansive balcony give you amazing views of the Atlantic Ocean from just about any point in the restaurant.

Take a look at its remarkable menu, which features fresh seafood as well as vegan and vegetarian options. Consider the lobster mac ‘n cheese, oceans seafood tower, or the vegan beet poke. Don’t forget to try one of the restaurant’s signature cocktails, which range from eloquent to exotic. Whiskey a coco has Jack Daniels, coconut puree, and fresh lemon and lime juices, while strawberry fields includes Codigo 1530 Rose Tequila along with fresh strawberries, basil, and fresh lime juice. Happy hour occurs Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. and includes a variety of appetizer and cocktail discounts.

Rusty Hook Tavern

125 N. Riverside Drive, Pompano Beach

Boasting an upscale atmosphere with stunning views of the Intracoastal Waterway, the Rusty Hook Tavern specializes in inventive takes on seafood dishes. It sits about 11 miles south of Boca Raton in Pompano Beach at the Sands Harbor Resort and Marina, and you can park your boat nearby and walk just a few feet to the restaurant. Try the blackened unicorn fish fillet, crab-crusted mahi-mahi, or the 10-ounce bistro steak. Keep in mind that the restaurant isn’t open on Mondays.

Seaspray Inlet Grill

999 E. Camino Real

Nestled along the shores of the Waterstone Resort, the Seaspray Inlet Grill has outdoor seating for up to 100 guests. Sit upon the numerous couches, grab a table, or take a seat at one of the many high-top tables and enjoy the scenic views. It’s also the only restaurant in Boca Raton that allows you to dock your boat and dine.

The restaurant keeps its menu fresh by incorporating local ingredients. Order the lobster club, grilled octopus with chorizo, or grilled mahi-mahi. For dessert, you can roast your own s’mores. Stop in during happy hour, which runs from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and try the $7 appetizers, $7 well drinks and house wine, and the $5 draft beers.

Two Georges at the Cove

1754 SE Third Court, Deerfield Beach

The Scaggs family has been involved in the restaurant business for more than 70 years and has opened several local eateries, including Two Georges at the Cove in nearby Deerfield Beach. The Maryland-based family purchased The Cove restaurant in 2010 and changed its name to its current moniker. It’s a popular spot for weekend boaters due to its waterside access via its adjacent dock along with its affordable prices.

The restaurant serves fresh seafood and delectable American cuisine. If you’re wanting something straight from the waters, try the fresh grouper, mahi-mahi, or salmon. One of its signature dishes is the seafood pot, which includes shrimp, clams, mussels, calamari, a half lobster tail, and potatoes in a roasted garlic tomato broth. The menu also features non-fish dishes such as filet mignon and barbecue ribs.
