The Boca Beach House is a quaint little Key West-style restaurant that serves some killer coffee and crave-worthy breakfast. When you’re looking for something relaxing to do on a weekend morning, this is a wonderful option. They serve quality food with fresh ingredients to ensure that customers get the best they can offer.

The friendly atmosphere, established by Daniel, the owner and a Boca Raton native, is welcoming. When he’s not hitting the waves, Daniel is ensuring guests are satisfied and shows his laid-back personality by allowing customers to take their canine companions and dine with them outside on the patio. There is a lot to choose from on the menu. They offer classic breakfast items like pancakes and French toast with a twist. For a sweet treat, get the Cinnamon Crunch pancakes or the banana French toast.

They also have crisp salads, like the summer salad served with grilled chicken or the Ahi tuna salad, with Romaine lettuce, cucumbers, tomato, pickled ginger, and avocado. The ginger adds a perfect tart flavor while the avocado balances the dish perfectly. For a savory meal, opt for one of their burgers. The burgers are all hand-rolled, cooked to perfection and served on a toasted Kaiser bun, with your choice of French fries or a side salad. Their busiest time is noon, so for a calm meal, go before noon or a little after once the lunch rush has settled.

Conveniently located in East Boca, you’ll find The Boca Beach House at 887 E. Palmetto Park Road. They are open seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information or details about their menu, please call 561-826-8850.

Bark Park Dog Beach

No Boca Raton, Florida list is complete without mentioning the beach! To help your friend wade through the waters and enjoy running in the sand, go to Bark Park Dog Beach. This beach, located in South Florida, is one of the coolest hidden gems around. The parking lot is safe, clean, and well-lit. The beach itself has a very relaxed and welcoming environment, so neither you nor Fido will feel intimidated if it is your first time visiting.

You can build sandcastles just so your pet can run through and destroy them or lounge together in the sun and work on your tans. This is a great way to get some fresh air, relax, and enjoy the simple things that dogs love and people so often take for granted. The dogs that frequent the beach are friendly and well-socialized, so it is a safe environment for puppies, small dogs, and those just learning about the beach. Roll in the sand, play in the water, start a game of fetch, and race your loyal, furry friend.

Resident fees are $31 per dog, while non-resident fees are $167 per dog. You can also opt for a weekend pass for $11 per dog. Dogs are allowed off-leash once they are in the dog beach area. Be sure to have pet bags to collect and properly dispose of dog waste and keep your dog permit with you at all times. Only two dogs per owner are allowed. If you need help while there, the park beach staff is very cordial and willing to help you out where they can.

The Bark Park Dog Beach at Spanish River Park is easy to get to at 3001 N. State Road A1A. For more information regarding beach policies, where to get permits, and container rules, call 561-393-7807. A trip out here is a dog owner’s must if you are in Boca Raton. Your pet will thank you with endless kisses.

Mizner Bark – Boca Raton Dog Park

Before you head home for the day, stop at Mizner Bark, an animal-centered park, to help Fido unwind, work off extra energy, and help the entire house get a good night’s rest.

Help your pet socialize with other dogs and encourage their athleticism by playing fetch, running the dog course, or just going for a walk. The dog park is well-maintained and park patrons are all friendly and attentive to their animals. The dog park is sectioned off according to weight, so your dog can play safely with other pets of his or her size. There is plenty of shade, so if the Boca Raton sun gets a little to much, you can sit under a tree and give your buddy a nice belly rub.

You’ll find the park at 751 Banyan Trail, right here in Boca Raton. It is a wonderful place for an evening picnic, or a sunset stroll to help get you grounded before a busy work week. The park opens daily from 7 a.m. until dusk, with shorter hours on Wednesday when it opens at 12 p.m. For information regarding park regulations or city beach, boat, and dog park permits, call 561-393-7807. So there you have it.
