When you want to get out on the open water but don’t have a boat or a lot of experience navigating a vessel, you might want to consider hiring a boat charter. Chartering a boat gives you the chance to explore a particular boat without owning it, and depending on the charter, you might have access to a crew. Whether you’re looking to rent a boat for a sightseeing tour, a romantic sunset cruise, some fishing, or an active day on the water with your family, these five boat charter companies in the Boca Raton, Florida, area have you covered.

Air and Sea Adventures

Providing fun in the Boca Raton area since 1987, Air and Sea Adventures offers a variety of ways to enjoy the waters of southeast Florida. It focuses on corporate events, team-building activities, sailing cruises, and parties for just about any occasion.

Take a cruise to a restaurant on the Intracoastal Waterway via its 55-foot sailing yacht that is certified for 49 passengers. A private yacht can even be reserved for VIPs, but its most popular option is its Raft-Up Party Event. The crew sails the catamarans into the ocean or bay area and then anchors them in the calmer waters. From there, they bring out water sports including wave runners, kayaks, and paddleboards.

The charter company also features a scrumptious catering menu, so if you prefer to enjoy your meal aboard the boat, you can. After you eat, you can step outside and bask in the stunning views, especially if you choose to cruise in the evening.

Located in nearby Marina One in Deerfield Beach, Daily Boat Rental is just a short ride to Boca Raton. Open daily from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., the facility offers four boat rental options: four-hour, six-hour, eight-hour, and extended overnight for three to 10 days. Previous hands-on boating experience is necessary, and each renter must be at least 25 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.

All boat rentals include the cost of fuel, a cooler full of ice, and a map of local waterways. Each one of its brand-name boats is equipped with plenty of safety features to keep you and the rest of your crew safe. The boats are also cleaned and sanitized by the staff, so you can rest assured that the boat you’re receiving is of the highest quality.

The staff will also help load in any of your belongings as well as assist you in leaving the dock so you can venture out into the Atlantic Ocean or Intracoastal Waterway safely. Once you return, the staff members will also help you tie off the boat, unload your gear, and help you off the boat.

Island Drifters

In business since 2017, Island Drifters offers boat charters throughout Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, and Pompano Beach. Although it specializes in four-hour charters, the company does allow you to customize a package specifically for your needs so you can extend your time if desired. The charter will pick you and your party up from one of its local pickups, with drop-offs at the same location. The rental includes life jackets, a cooler, a Bluetooth speaker with JL audio speakers, and a Bimini top with a sunroof.

Day and sunset cruises are available, but you can also opt for snorkeling sessions when the weather permits. Its trips to the sand bars and private beaches off the Intracoastal Waterway are some customer favorites. You can also choose to go tubing and wakeboarding off the back of the boat. The company runs its boats from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m., so you can head out on the water when it’s convenient for you and your schedule.

Mizner’s Dream

Situated between Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale, Mizner’s Dream offers a way for you to experience the waters via a vintage yacht charter. Its vessels are ideal for outings of up to 25 people, where you and your guests can comfortably cruise the Intracoastal Waterway. This 44-foot vintage motor yacht features teak and brass accents, both of which give it a touch of elegance.

The original boat was commissioned by the Boca Raton Hotel in the 1970s to ferry guests across the lake to the newly built Beach Club. This seven-minute charter gave guests a way to travel from the hotel to dining and the beach in an unconventional way. Marina One purchased the boat in 2012 and restored it to its current condition. Today, you can enjoy an elegant dinner cruise, sit inside the air-conditioned cabin, or stand out on the teak deck and enjoy the sights.

Prime Time Boat Charters

Prime Time Boat Charters has a 33-foot express cruiser ready for rental. When you step aboard, you’ll notice how roomy and comfortable the boat is. It’s also outfitted with modern amenities to help make your boating experience even more memorable. The boat features two air-conditioned cabins that sleep four adults, three flat-screen televisions, two DVD players, and an upgraded stereo. Use the barbecue or stove to prepare your meal, which you can enjoy at the U-shaped dinette. When you’re ready to jump into the waters, use the large extended swim platform for easier access.

Captain Paul brings with him more than three decades of boating experience after his father bought him his first boat at the age of 13. First mate Jessica is fluent in four languages and has spent much of her life on the open water. The married couple strives to make your boating experience a memorable one by showing you an amazing adventure.
